The Certificate of Clearance (COC) is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to certify that the subject concerned has no prior criminal conviction in Singapore.

Singapore Citizens

Singapore Citizens Applicants may apply for a COC via the link above. Singapore Citizens are not required to submit fingerprint impressions. Applicants shall indicate the complete postal address including postal code during the application, for the COC to be mailed to the postal address indicated. Please note that you should not send your COC to the Consulate for collection as we do not accept mails for individuals.

Therefore, Singapore Citizens are not required to go through the Singapore Consulate for COC applications.

 

Non-Singapore Citizens

Overseas applicants will need to apply for COC at the abovementioned link. After that, they may get their fingerprint impressions taken by a qualified fingerprint officer from a police establishment, forensic department, Commissioner of Oaths or notary public office in their country of residence for fingerprint recording services.

The Consulate-General does not provide fingerprint recording services.
