Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship - Visit of Honorable Sherwin Gatchalian, Senator of the Republic of the Philippines, 21 to 26 October 2019

Senator of the Republic of the Philippines Honorable Sherwin Gatchalian will visit Singapore as the 69th Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellow from 21 to 26 October 2019.
Senator Gatchalian will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. He will also meet Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Dr Amy Khor, and Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social and Family Development, Assoc Prof Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim. Chairman of the Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship (LKYEF) Lee Tzu Yang will host a welcome dinner in honour of Senator Gatchalian.
Senator Gatchalian will receive briefings by Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education, Energy Market Authority, SkillsFuture Singapore, and Workforce Singapore. Senator Gatchalian will also visit Semakau Landfill, Singapore Sports School, and the Science Centre Singapore.
Established in 1991, the LKYEF invites outstanding individuals to visit Singapore. The Fellows are chosen on the basis of their track records and extraordinary potential to contribute to the development of their nations and to bilateral relations with Singapore.
