Working Visit by Professor Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, 9 - 10 July 2019

Professor Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum paid separate courtesy calls on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat, and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister-in-charge of the Smart Nation Initiative Dr Vivian Balakrishnan today. During the meetings, they discussed possible collaboration between the World Economic Forum and Singapore, including ways in which countries can equip their people for the fourth industrial revolution amidst global economic and geopolitical tensions.
 
2 Professor Schwab, accompanied by officials from the World Economic Forum, is on a working visit to Singapore from 9 to 10 July 2019.
