Visit by Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry, Dr Tan Wu Meng to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for the World Economic Forum on Middle East and North Africa, 5 to 7 April 2019

Senior Parliamentary Secretary (SPS), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry, Dr Tan Wu Meng visited the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from 5 to 7 April 2019 to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

SPS Dr Tan shared Singapore’s experiences in SkillsFuture and lifelong learning, promoting interfaith harmony, and cross border data flows at several community sessions organised as part of the WEF on MENA.

At the sidelines of the Forum, SPS Dr Tan met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan Ayman Safadi. SPS Dr Tan reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between Singapore and Jordan with Minister Safadi, and also discussed developments in the Middle East.

SPS Dr Tan also met with Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Sigrid Kaag, during which they discussed ways to further enhance bilateral economic cooperation.
