Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will make an Official Visit to Singapore from 12 to 13 November 2018 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
On 12 November 2018, Prime Minister Mahathir will attend a Welcome Ceremony, call on President Halimah Yacob, and meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. PM Lee and Mrs Lee will host an official lunch in honour of Prime Minister Mahathir and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali. An orchid will also be named after Prime Minister Mahathir and Tun Dr Siti Hasmah.
On 13 November 2018, Prime Minister Mahathir will be hosted to lunch by Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. Prime Minister Mahathir will also be conferred an Honorary Doctor of Laws by his alma mater, the National University of Singapore.
Prime Minister Mahathir will be accompanied by Tun Dr Siti Hasmah, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah and senior officials.
