Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel will make a Working Visit to Singapore from 14 to 15 November 2016.
On 15 November 2016, Prime Minister Bettel will meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who will also host dinner. Prime Minister Bettel will also deliver a lecture titled “Political Leadership in the Digital Age” at the Singapore Management University under its Presidential Distinguished Lecture Series. In addition, he will visit one-north, where he will be hosted to a tour of FusionWorld by the Agency of Science, Technology and Research.
Two memoranda of understanding (MOU) will be signed during the visit. The first is between Singapore’s National Research Foundation and Luxembourg’s National Research Fund to foster science and innovation collaborations through funding for joint projects. The second is between Nanyang Technological University and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology to facilitate joint research involving 3D printable composites.
Prime Minister Bettel’s visit will reaffirm the warm bilateral relations between Singapore and Luxembourg.
