VISIT OF MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS

DR VIVIAN BALAKRISHNAN

TO SABAH, MALAYSIA

1 TO 3 APRIL 2016

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will make a working visit to Sabah, Malaysia, from 1 to 3 April 2016.

During his visit, Minister Balakrishnan will be hosted to lunch by Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Sri Anifah Hj. Aman. He will also have meetings with Chief Minister of Sabah Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman, Deputy Chief Minister and Sabah Minister of Infrastructure Development Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Pairin Kitingan, as well as other Sabahan dignitaries.

On 2 April 2016, Minister Balakrishnan will host a thank you reception for Malaysian officials and personalities who provided invaluable assistance to Singapore in the aftermath of the Sabah earthquake in June 2015.

Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education.
