MFA Press Statement: Official Visit by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam to Japan, 22 to 24 October 2014

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam will make an official visit to Japan from 22 to 24 October 2014.

In Japan, Minister Shanmugam will meet with Minister for Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishida, Minister of Justice Yoko Kamikawa, Minister in charge of Overcoming Population Decline and Vitalising Local Economy in Japan Shigeru Ishiba, and National Security Secretariat Secretary-General Shotaro Yachi. In addition, Minister Shanmugam will meet Liberal Democratic Party Secretary-General Sadakazu Tanigaki, members of the Japan-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship League and senior parliamentarians from the Democratic Party of Japan.

Minister Shanmugam will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
