MFA Press Statement: Visit of Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli to East Kalimantan, Indonesia (6 to 8 May 2014)

Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will visit Balikpapan and Samarinda in East Kalimantan, Indonesia from 6 to 8 May 2014. The visit is part of Singapore’s efforts to strengthen relations with the Indonesian regions.

SMS Masagos is scheduled to meet Governor of East Kalimantan Awang Faroek Ishak, Mayor of Balikpapan Rizal Effendi and Vice-Mayor of Samarinda Nusyirwan Ismail. He will also meet local business and media personalities.

SMS Masagos will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
