MFA Press Statement: Singapore's Representation at the Inauguration of Pope Francis on 19 March 2013

                Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, and

Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Grace Fu represented Singapore at the Papal Inauguration Mass for the

Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis, on 19 March 2013.   

                Minister Fu had a brief audience with Pope Francis following the Papal Inauguration Mass.  Minister Fu

congratulated Pope Francis on his election, and reaffirmed that the Singapore Government will work closely with

the Catholic Church to continue its good work in Singapore.
