MFA Press Statement: Visit of Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen to Negara Brunei Darussalam to attend the Royal Wedding Celebrations of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, 22-24 September 2012

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen and Mrs Ivy Ng will visit Brunei Darussalam from 22 to 24 September 2012 as Special Representatives of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to attend the royal wedding of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, the daughter of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. Minister and Mrs Ng will attend the Royal Bersanding Ceremony and the Royal Banquet on 23 September 2012. Minister Ng’s visit is a reflection of the warm friendship and strong ties between Singapore and Brunei.
