MFA Press Statement: Visit by Minister for National Development Khaw Boon Wan to Brunei Darussalam, 14-16 July 2011

Minister for National Development Khaw Boon Wan and Mrs Khaw visited Brunei Darussalam from 14-16 July 2011 at the invitation of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah to attend His Majesty's 65th birthday celebrations on 15 July 2011. Minister Khaw and Mrs Khaw had a joint audience with His Majesty and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, where Minister Khaw conveyed birthday congratulations to His Majesty and reaffirmed the warm ties between Singapore and Brunei. In addition, Minister Khaw and Mrs Khaw attended a Royal Guard of Honour Ceremony, an Investiture Ceremony and a Royal Banquet as part of the birthday celebrations.
