WORKING VISIT BY PRESIDENT GEORGI PARVANOV
OF BULGARIA

The President of Bulgaria, Mr Georgi Parvanov, will make a working visit to Singapore on 15 September 2003. He will be accompanied by Mrs Parvanova, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mr Mehmed Dikme, senior officials and a business delegation.

President Parvanov will call on President S R Nathan, who will also host a lunch in his honour. During the visit, President Parvanov and Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs Lee Yock Suan will witness the signing of the Agreement on the Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments between Bulgaria and Singapore. The Agreement will be signed by the Deputy Finance Minister Mr Krassimir Katev and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr Tan Chin Tiong. President Parvanov will also visit Keppel FELS Limited and meet with Bulgarian nationals living in Singapore.
