MFA Spokesman's Comments

In response to media queries on North Korea's declaration that it would reactivate its nuclear programme, MFA Spokesman made the following comments:

"North Korea's decision is regrettable. It is a retrograde step that undermines KEDO (Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organisation) and raises tensions on the Korean Peninsula, complicating the situation in East Asia as a whole. We hope that North Korea will reconsider its decision."
