SINGAPORE'S PRESIDENCY OF
THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL IN JAN 2001

 

In January 2001, Singapore had the privilege of serving as the Presidency of the UN Security Council, which rotates monthly in accordance with the English alphabetical listing of the member states of the Council. Singapore served once again as the President of the UN Security Council in May 2002.

This site details the programme of work and activities of the Security Council which occurred during the course of Singapore's Presidency in January 2001.
