Passport Applications and Extensions

The Consular Section processes applications for and extensions of Singapore passports. Application forms are available at the Embassy or can be downloaded from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Homepage or from the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consular Homepage. Processing time is between 3-5 weeks because the issuing authority is the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.

Completed application forms with supporting documents and contact details can be submitted to the Embassy from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm from Mondays to Fridays. You will be informed on the collection date / time when we have received the passport from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.

Alternatively, you may wish to apply or renew your passport online, whether you're in Singapore or overseas. This new feature allows Singapore citizens to submit applications and make payment online. They can even send in their photographs for their passports electronically.
