Consular Matters – Stranded in San Francisco/Bay
Area
If you lose your money and
valuables while traveling in USA and find yourself stranded in San
Francisco/Bay Area, you should first report the loss to the local Police
Department and obtain a statement.
If you need immediate cash or funds, you should provide the following
information to us:-
- Your Name, NRIC No.,
local contact number and address
- Your intended departure
date from USA and the city which you will be departing from
- Particulars of your
family members or friends who could remit funds to you by depositing them
with the Consular Directorate of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore.
