Visa Information Holders of Special Travel Documents Visa Application The Consulate-General processes visa applications for PRC nationals and other foreigners who require a visa to enter Singapore. To check whether you require a visa to visit Singapore, please click here. Visa Processing Fee With effect from 1 April 2008, the visa processing fee has been revised to RMB 153 per application. The processing fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application or if the application is withdrawn after submission. Processing Time For applications submitted on line via the Submission of Application for Visa Electronically (SAVE), it will be 1 working day. For PRC and Level 1 passport holders, the processing time is usually within 3 working days (including the day of submission) upon receipt of the completed application and no further verifications are required. For Level 2 passport holders, the processing time is usually 5 working days (excluding the day of submission). Types of Visas
Documents Required Submission of Visa Applications Submission time is between 9.00am and 11.00 am. Collection of Visa Collection time is from 4.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Notes: We DO NOT accept incomplete application forms, insufficient documents that do not meet the above requirements. The visa issued is normally dated on the day of submission and the validity of the visa cannot be changed once it is issued. Hence, please do not apply for the visa too early (i.e. more than a month) before your scheduled trip to Singapore. If the visa has expired, a new application has to be submitted. Applicants are therefore advised to check the visa issued date and its validity carefully upon collecting the visa. The possession of a visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. The Duty Immigration Officer will determine the number of day stay for a visitor by issuing a Social Visit Pass at Singapore Checkpoints. Visitors with valid visas have to ensure that they meet the basic entry requirements before arriving in Singapore. Applicants should ensure that their Visa applications are approved before they obtain their air ticket.
