The Consular Section of the Consulate-General collects the application for and renewal of Certificate of Identity on behalf of the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority. Application forms are available at the Consulate-General. It can also be downloaded from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Homepage.

Please note that the issuing authority for Certificate of Identity is the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority. As such, every application has to be referred to ICA for consideration.

Processing Time

4 – 6 weeks

Collection of Certificate of Identity

With effect from 1 March 2001, all approved documents pertaining to PR renewal have to be collected in person in Singapore. We will inform you once we received the notification from ICA that the application has been approved.
