The processing time for a new passport is at about four weeks. The processing time will be longer for a first time applicant or those whose passports have expired for a long time.

The applicant has to be present at the High Commission once (either at time of application or collection). The fee for a new passport is RM188/-. (Note: Fees are subjected to changes without notice).
