Overview

The Visa Section of the High Commission processes visa applications of foreigners who require a visa to enter Singapore.

 

Application for:

 

Social/Business Visa for Level 1 nationals

Level 1 countries included nationals from India, PRC. Myanmar, Holder of Hong Kong Document of Identity, Holder of Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Travel Document, Commonwealth Of Independent States (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyztan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turhmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan)

 

Social/Business Visa for Level 2 nationals

 

Level 2 countries include nationals form Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen, holders of Palestinian Authority Passport, Temporary Passport issued by the United Arab Emirates and Refugee Travel Document by Middle-East Countries.

 

Holders of Non-regular Travel Documents

 

All holders of non-regular Travel Documents are advised to consult the Singapore High Commission in Brunei on visa requirements to visit Singapore.

 

Visa Processing Fee

 

The Visa Processing Fee is B$30/- per application. The fee collected is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application or if the application is withdrawn after submission.

 

Processing Time

 

For Level 1 passport holders, the processing time is 1 working day.

 

For Level 2 passport holders, the processing time is 5 working days.

 

Electronic Re-Entry Permit (e-REP)

 

With effect from January 2009, Electronic Re-Entry Permit or e-REP in short, is an online , web-based system that allows Singapore Permanent Residents(SPRs), who are in Singapore or Overseas, to apply online for a Re-Entry Permit or transfer the remaining validity of their REPs from an old passport to a new passport. You can access e-REP through ICA's website at http://www.ica.gov.sg using your Singpass account. Generally, the outcome of the applications will be made known to the applicants within five (5) working days.


SPRs who have a a SingPass account and whose REP is still valid, can make use of e-REP to submit applications. If you do not pass a SingPass account, you can apply for a SingPass counter by accessing the Singapore Government's SingPass website at http://www.singpass.gov.sg.


SPRs are encouraged to apply for their REPs on line. However, if you do not have a SingPass account or internet connection, you may submit a hardcopy application through our Overseas Mission. Please note that overseas application must be submitted at least 2 months before the expiry of the current REP.
