Registration of Singaporeans overseas
All Singaporeans residing in Thailand are encouraged to register with the Embassy. In times of emergency, this will enable the Embassy to contact Singaporeans and provide assistance quickly. Registration can be done on-line (click here) or in person at the Embassy. Online registration is preferred.

Application / Extension
The Embassy accepts applications for Singapore International Passports. These applications will be referred to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for processing. If your passport is lost/stolen, you will need to do the following:
- Lodge a police report (when you do so, please request for a copy of the report);
- Take two passport-sized photographs in case you do not have spare ones with you. Instant photographs are acceptable;
- Contact the Singapore Embassy’s Consular Section (please bring along the copy of the police report and documentary proof of your citizenship and your identity – preferably with your photograph on it e.g. Identification Card). Singapore Permanent Residents

The average processing time for Permanent Residence application is three months. Applicants will be informed of the outcome by mail.
Renewal of Re-Entry Permits (REP)
Applicants can submit renewal/transfer of Re-Entry Permits (REP) online at http://erep.ica.gov.sg/erep/index.do with a SingPass account or through the Embassy. Please note that an overseas application should be submitted at least 2 months before the expiry of the current REP.
Applications for REP renewal/transfer can be processed within one day if the applicants are in Singapore. For Singapore Permanent Residents who are currently not in Singapore, the outcome of their applications will be made known to them within 5 working days.
Certificate of Identity
The Embassy accepts applications for Certificate of Identity (COI). These applications will be referred to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority(ICA) for processing.
