Thailand's Crown Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, being accompanied by Gardens by the Bay chief executive Tan Wee Kiat and National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan, admiring the view from the OCBC Skyway during her visit to the Gardens yesterday.
She was also conferred a distinguished honorary fellow award by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, and had lunch with President Tony Tan Keng Yam at the Istana.
Speaking to The Straits Times, she said Asean's biggest challenge now is to overcome differences as it tries to draw closer as a community.
