The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is holding its Sixth Meeting of Honorary Consuls-General from 2 to 6 July 2012.
This Meeting was opened by Minister for Foreign Affairs K Shanmugam this morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The last such meeting was held in Singapore in April 2007.
Attended by 26 of our Honorary Consuls-General (HCGs), this meeting aims to brief them on the latest political, economic and social developments in Singapore. The HCGs will also be updated on the objectives and priorities of Singapore, and attend briefings by various ministries and government agencies.
During their stay, the HCGs will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and attend a tea reception hosted by President and Mrs Tony Tan Keng Yam.
