Official Visit to Singapore by a delegation from The Communist Party Of Vietnam Led By His Excellency Dr Pham Xuan Son, Vice Chairman Of The External Relations Commission, Central Committee, 9-12 December 2008

The delegation of senior party officials from the Communist Party of Vietnam with Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr Peter Ho.

A six-member delegation of senior party officials from the Communist Party of Vietnam is on an official visit to Singapore from 9 December to 12 December 2008 under MFA's Distinguished Visitor's Programme. The delegation is led by Dr Pham Xuan Son, Vice Chairman of the Commission of External Affairs, Central Committee, Communist Party of Vietnam. This visit is part of the regular exchange of visits between the two countries to strengthen the bilateral relationship.

The Communist Party of Vietnam delegation paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo. They were also hosted to a call and lunch by Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr Peter Ho. During the visit, the delegation will also visit the Singapore Parliament, Public Service Commission, Civil Service College, Singapore Tourism Board and Urban Redevelopment Authority. [Photo: MFA}
