Model ASEAN Summit (HCMAS) aims to replicate the workings of ASEAN, and to simulate real-world workings of diplomacy and negotiations. Through an interactive simulation platform, it hopes to give students a better perspective into the intricate workings of this association. Further, by allowing students to assume responsibilities and roles of delegates, it allows the development of communication skills, in tandem with honing the fine art of diplomacy and negotiation, and also to master the skills in summit writing. The HCMAS also serves as an alternative and more interactive platform for the sharing of National Education, through increasing awareness of nationalism, national interest and regional issues.
